Santa Veronica is located on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. It’s a tropical climate so expect to see Iguanas sunbathing in the road and if you’re lucky you might meat an angry crab walking back from the kitespot. Flocks of pelicans are a common site as they fly against west against the wind every morning and return the other way each evening.
The many hilltops in the area are still sanctuary for local wildlife and there are projects forming in order to protect the wildlife in this area.
