Insurance giant AXA has offered insurances for water-sports for years. Many divers have purchased their insurances for years that also cover kitesurfing. Kitebeaches are getting more and more crowded and some spots are seeing authorities or clubs requiring an insurance of liability.
Most of all you want to be covered if there is an accident where your kite causes an injury to a third party. IKO has a new partnership with the french insurange giant AXA and together they are offering an insurance, of three levels, for kite-surfers.
Options go for a basic kitboarding insurance at 29.95 USD up to 59.95 for the premium option. Depending on the plan you choose the insurances offered from IKO and AXA cover liabilty, equipment, accident insurance and more.
